Webmasterchecks is releasing SOBV $$$ - Who is owed?

In this thread webmasterchecks settled their issue with the Government and are paying their clients back (http://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1002373)

Post here if you are owed money from SOBV, im considering getting an attorney to put Webmasterchecks on notice that they are holding funds that belong to a 3rd party and that they may be legally liable if they release the funds to Jason Forest before clearly assertaining whom they belong to, which is affiliates he gave webmasterchecks the money to pay.

What do you think about this? Im not owed much, but its a matter of principle. The more we have the stronger the case will be on this

I'm just curious how WMC could possibly be responsible for SOBV owing you money. WMC doesn't owe you shit, if SOBV asks them for their money back, they're going to be sending it back to SOBV.

I'm owed about 1000 bucks but really I wouldn't even consider wasting any more time caring about it.

SOBV will get paid and hopefuly some months later they will issue the payments towards their affiliates, start promoting them again, probably it will count for something, if you have smaller amounts... move on and dont look back

If you were to start a lawsuit you might be able to get an emergency restraining order from a judge to prevent Webmasterchecks from releasing the funds. It happens to financial companies accused of fraud in many instances...

Yeah it could well be. I think you'd still have to file that suit against SOBV though, not Webmaster Checks.

Also, I believe the accounts are not deleted, you just cant log in.
I used to get signup emails long after they denied the access to members area. And I can still use the NATS forgot email feature and get new password to my email, just cant login with it.

you could file an action against them, then forward it to Webmasterchecks attorney and ask them to hold onto the funds for a month or so so you can try to get access to them
