Yes...mostly because it's selectivity. Some of us try it after seeing everyone else do it and our thread is moved and we're warned. I don't understand why EVERY thread selling anything in this section isn't moved and warned.

I think as long as it is done in moderation by the individuals and you know before clicking the link what to expect it should be allowed. But if someone is abusing the system, say posting new spam every day or constantly bumping their own spam threads then they should be dealt with

I don't really notice it much... unless the person does it over and over and over in a very short period of time - which doesn't last long either way.

I'm not, normally the sellers who post in the main forum has stuff i'm interested in. Its annoying to have to trawl throught the buy/sell form looking for content/domains when every post there seems to be bumps for people trying to sell links on their free hosted subdomains.

Some would consider everyone sigs to be spam. This particular forum is very open to all sorts of topics. Not all topics appeal to everyone, and one person's spam, may be another person's opportunity. If you start censoring too much, the popularity will drop.

In a weird way, some of the topics and postings here are so annoying, that many people come back even more frequently, just for the fights!
