Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

Not following...could you explain further? How does homosexuality being a biological characteristic take away from the purpose of saying "I'm gay and I'm proud". Are you saying people should not be proud of their own unique biological characteristics?
Regarding gay marriage, that's off topic, but I will say I think the Government should get out of the business of marriage all together and leave it to private entities/organizations themselves to choose whether or not they want to marry gay couples.Comment

Congress also has control of the military...last I heard all Congress members are civilians.

And do you in all your wisdom think you're getting the same rights given to members on congress? What a fucking moron!
Even members of congress can't get at every piece of military secrets, only the president canCarbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. yes, i have.
but that's not the point. You said "Civilians can't even get on base without a reason". You are wrong.SIG TOO BIGComment

Didn't think of that, I wonder how they will do that, I mean if the military accepts gay marriage, they are considered federal, state law I don't think would apply, but I could be wrongCarbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. good deal. And they should not be allowed to leave until they can get the Zagroda bill passed, which it should have been long ago.Comment

Pro Tip: The President is also a civilian.
Thus, civilians (President and Congress) control the military, regardless of how much that fact annoys you.Comment

But that's part of my point. Shortly before they allowed women to serve on US Navy ships, all the men sat around saying "this is going to be more uncomfortable than serving with blacks". Change is always difficult. No, it's the consensus of the ship she was on that gays serving openly would make people uncomfortable more than having women on the ship.
When kids join the military they are surrounded by women, they are not always surrounded by gays.
Remember that I'm for gays servingHerschel Savage

Only fact that annoys me is that you're beating a dead horse like it owes you $10 for a blow job
That's what I have been trying to tell everyone, but in their arrogance, they think they know what goes on in the military without ever serving.

Wait, the REpublicans are usually the ones calling someone a redneck or hillbilly? Because that would be weird since the greatest moniker used by the left for the right or for Republicans.. So either the Republicans talk shit about themselves, or you're a fucking idiot (as we all know).
I'd shoot myself if my IQ was as low as GatorB.. Suicide is the only viable option in this case. You never see them together in a picture, could they be the same person?Greed is Good

Calling the POTUS a civilian is like calling you intelligent, it just doesn't fit
And BTW, the POTUS can attack without the congress, like Vietnam, Korea and Panama were started without the congress.Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. U MAD? lol
Civilians control the military regardless of how mad that makes you. The President is a civilian and so are members of Congress....the body that controls the military budget.Comment

Why is this relevant ?
Why would I be mad, I deal with idiots on this forum all the time, your not the first or the last. We were talking about DADT and you spent a page arguing that the civilians control the military, they don't, the government does. It's irrelevant, but so are most of your posts.Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. It's relevant because you previously argued that people without military experience should not be commenting or passing judgment on the military.
I just proved to you that your statement is contradictory to the US Constitution...civilians do in fact have the power to control the military, regardless of military experience.
Well you sound mad, that's why I asked. People who cannot control themselves from cursing are normally angry people. Why would I be mad, I deal with idiots on this forum all the time, your not the first or the last.
