    Senate Repeals Don't Ask, Don't Tell

    By a vote of 65 to 31 this afternoon, the Senate voted to repeal the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy.


    Now, if they can get their shit together and pass the Zadroga Bill this lame duck session won't seem so lame.

              Also, I think many people missed this part, which is very crucial.

              Under the bill, the president and his top military advisers must first certify that lifting the ban won't hurt troops' ability to fight. After that, the military would undergo a 60-day wait period.

                                          They didn't have DADT when I was in, if they thought you were gay, they shipped you out. My daughter just got out of the Navy and she believes that it's going to have lots of problems. I'm for lifting the ban on gays serving, but I know there will be problems.
                                          Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

You do realize that gays are currently and have served in the military. My grandfather served in WWII and he told me he knew there were gay guys serving. Even when I got my 4f, or whatever they called it back then, I was told that unless there was WWIII there was no chance of me being called.

So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
