Alright here's the deal. Happened same time last month. The 12-14 always suck then it picks up. Poss just a lull before the mid month payday perhaps.
Or.. something more sinister. It's true, check your stats back a few months.

Yeah, They really should just leave the biz. They are useless. Pay on time? Woopty do. I'll just have them forward my $27.95 checks to the electric company.
I pulled 80% of CCBill but guess i have to pull em all.

CCbill is the one which puzzles me. For years the 1st - 10th have been rocking and from the 10th to the 25th I might as well shut down my CCBill sites. Suddenly about three months ago it changed. Now the 1 - 10th is bad but usually after the 15th things pick up and average out. I'm not saying CCBill is up to anything but I just don't get why so many of us seem to have these patterns although the patterns aren't ever the same dates between different webmasters at any given time. In all fairness they have a lot of sites and it all matters what you are selling. Maybe I just have duds.
Fact is Online Booty Call (anyone promote them ever?) WAS and IS the best dating program ever. And I still get rebills going back 2 years. Trouble is they are with Pepperjam now and only pay out $20 a sup. They used to be 50/50 with CCBill. But they did convert as well as any site ever AND CCBill is HONEST with the rebills which is a BIG plus.
So "useless" may be a bit strong. But truth is, the super winners with CCBill like Online Booty Call are hard to find. At least for me.
Now to your point yeah patterns tend to indicate scrub/shave I would think. There is a certian eb and flow but several days in a row, repeating every month.. not good.
Hey, if you got organic dating traffic, consider this my Christmas present to you. Maybe $20 a pop will work out. Esp if you have some spanish or Southern Calif oriented traffic.
Altho Pepperjam is mainstream sort of and Online BC got me in or Id never got in. They denied me at first. I put up a stink to OBC and OBC got me in.

Like they say, count your money not your hits. If they pay the bills great! Maybe I never dug deep enough. Lots of sites to promote and you cant find the one winner without also sending traf to the 4 losers.
A little too late for that now days. But yeah some good sites with CCBill just have to find them or match traffic to them.
I'm just a lil cranky lately as this recurring 12th-14th lull is a pisser. Already picking up tho. 16th-20th tends to be good.

I must say one major sponsor tanked this month (for me) and that is not good. But they have tanked before. So they'll bounce back. I think in general it was a little slower month so far. 25% sounds about right.
X-Mas. I alway said December is a beautiful, peaceful month ruined by X-mas. Discretionary income.. X-Mas is taking a big bite of it. No doubt.
But as someone said. Gift certificates, new CC's, some $$ from Uncle Dave (pun intended) and suddenly it is a good month.

As far as I am concerned, knowing what I now know, any stats that are not in real time, are stats that can be manipulated that much easier.
I cannot accept ....."Well we have delays, and lags in stats reporting.... we have servers all over the world....blah blah blah...."
Yeah and so does my bank have servers all over the world, and guess what when I make a transaction, I can go immediately online and see the transaction, without "lag" or delay in servers updating for hours.
Its like, if I were paying you to hold and secure my gold..... and I needed access to my gold... then you delay my access to my gold, and start giving me excuses about why I can't see my gold at the moment, I am going to question you about how secure my gold is, and what the hell I am paying you for....COPY???Comment

Ya know, historical stats projections are powerful, inescapeable, mathematical formulas with all things remaining equal. If your stats are getting better and are now say 1:1500 and dropping 100/month, a certain number of people will HAVE TO join even tho they dont know it based on those ratios.
We all know this but just a reminder.
The problem sometimes is we get impatient, we dont have a "popsicle", we change things and then there goes our mathematical formula. The other variable of course is the sponsor must remain constant. Which is usually the problem.
I once changed my whole network 19 times on 19 days. Worked hard 12 hour days for 19 days cause nothing worked. The 20th day I realized i was right the first time and changed it back. True.
Oh yeah being an affil is a piece of cake.
