    Canon camera question

While traveling, I spoke with a gentleman that suggested I try CraigsList for good deals on camera lenses. I have found what seems to be a couple decent deals, but in all honesty, I am not positive if the lenses will fit my Canon Rebel T1i.

The lenses in question are a Canon 35-70mm f4 and a Canon 135mm f2.8. The Canon site is not being of much help. I can drive the 40 miles to find out, but if someone knows, that would be easier. Are all Canon lenses compatible on all Canon cameras?

    TIA

If the lenses are for EOS cameras, then yes, they'll fit the Rebel. These lens have "EF" or "EF-S" on the front of the lens around, the glass.

Thanks, those are the only that will fit? The reason I ask is my Sigma does not have that, so wondering how I can tell readily without putting it on.

Yes you need EF or EF-S lenses to fit on your Rebel. You Sigma lens should be an EF mount. It's a standard fit...no guess work. Ask the seller on CL. He should/will know the answer. If not..look elsewhere.
