Ok, I like my iPad and my iPhone 4, but I'm not going to play Apple's fucking game of upgrading my still-perfectly-working phone and tablet just because they come out with a new one.

Yea you will. Because they'll come out with an important feature that should have been in the previous one.

It's amazing one can get through life with a normal laptop computer and a phone used only for calling, but I manage. Have not once owned an Apple product and don't feel like giving them the satisfaction of buying their overpriced shit.

I can get similar 10" tablets running Android 2.2 for less than $200 wholesale. The 7" version is even cheaper.

Apple is just evil in Europe. What they charge in Euro what they charge you guys in dollar.
If an Apple product is $500 for you, it's 500 Euros for Europeans.
And people are obviously too dumbed down to complain or protest about it.
