That's just stupid. I grew Habaneros and I ended up giving half of them away. I love the heat and I love the taste, but you've got to draw the line somewhere.

We grew some too and dehydrated them. Grinded them up and made our own hot spices. After that I can't put just red chili peppers on my pizza anymore, has to be habanero.

Have tried the Ghost chili and won't be trying that next one. We made beef jerky out of it. Mouth, lips, tongue burn and are nearly numb for like an hour.

I have Dave's Ghost Pepper Naga Jolokia Private reserve 2008, 2009, 2010. I go through at least two bottles a year. I also have a Da Bomb "Final Answer" hot sauce which I sprinkle on hot dogs.

I love mixing my extreme hot sauce with Red Hot or Tabasco sauce where I can get enough flavor with a balanced heat.

I only eat my hot stuff in front of people I am comfortable with because I sweat out big time.

Can't wait try the Naga Viper to numb my tongue and experience shit that I have never thought possible while living.

I gotta agree. I love spicy, but too much takes the flavor away. Habaneros are good dried and turned into crushed pepper flakes. All the taste and spice without the searing heat.

My friend does chili eating contests here. In the final of the last one they were eating 2 x naga at a time, and people were still going, then they dipped the naga in the hottest hot sauce at the show. Then my man dropped out and a thai lady won.

He said it was like taking acid, he was actually tripping from the chemicals.

He looked in such pain.

I grow chilis, have 12 plants, 4 varieties this year. And there is one called hopscotch that is a cross between a scotch bonnet and something. It's incredible. Too hot to chop up, but if you put a couple in whole to a chili it adds amazing depth of flavour. Last one I made had 5 different types of chili in it and it rocked.

I don't understand the point of spicy hot food, I mean I like louisiana hot sauce because it has a great flavor but the really hot stuff with no flavor I just don't get..
