I am not going to research the matter for you...but I recall several times that different sponsors have done something like this or similar.

Come on AsianDivaGirlsWebDude I thought you'd be better than that. I'm accuse of having a low bar because I only got sales from The Demon on his own CCs and Debit cards. Do you really think I would know who he is out of the thousands of affiliate accounts we have if he only sent a handful of signups and only for an hour?

This thread is an attack on him because of his political views nothing else. If any other no-name was banned because he or she wasn't a part of this industry it would go unnoticed. Now we have accusations that he's a spammer because someone said they "heard" he was spamming. I can't prove that he doesn't mail but I can say that The Demon does not send AFF mailer traffic.

I'm not here to defend him as a person but I can say that he has traffic. I know he also sends to other programs so yes he is a part of this industry. That's Eric's bar for being on GFY not mine. Since his banning was a mistake or miscommunication then lets correct it and move on. If you want to attack The Demon for something else do it in the numerous political threads where you can at least attempt to make a case that stands. I'm done with this stupid thread.

It's likely either The Demon notified Sagi or Sagi noticed because he holds strong political beliefs. It's not common because things like this don't happen often but it's a no-brainer. One of your affiliates is accused of not sending traffic to people, he sends traffic to you, so you pipe up. It's not as big a coincidence as it might seem, if he was IM spamming or something similar he probably spoke directly to Sagi to check whether it was ok with them first to make sure he was going to get paid. Maybe Sagi noticed when he was "outed" as it might have been mentioned he was sending to AFF and he had board alerts set up, maybe they agree politically and Sagi took notice. There is a big ass thread on the front page..
All a program has to do is confirm an affiliate is sending them traffic and they make an affiliate happy? It's not even a question. Takes less time than 90% of affiliate requests.

I still think it's interesting that aff goes to bat for a person who has said he's not really in the industry, and who has often enough called us porn scum or the equivalent (which we are), but if you think it's not interesting, well, such is your right.

The last time I called anyone "porn scum" may have been 5 years ago when I was young and arrogant. I'm still young and arrogant but I also have the self awareness to know that while I don't like porn, it's also a 1st amendment right and is fine by me as long as its controlled. that's certainly possible. A human mind creates an "executive summary" of memories, and my memory summary is that you have pretty consistently written demeaningly of porn people and the biz, but that's an impression, and I couldn't point to examples, and I might be wrong.

you are probably right. I miss a lot. I'll watch for examples in the future.

I wonder what sponsors I could get to vouch for me. I rarely communicate with them, unless asking for content. I dont think of the sponsor/affiliate relationship as an especially close one, unless one is a whale, which I'm not.
