you tend to do it more with the other 'soft target' types on my side. it's not always you who starts it, because their debate skills are often relatively weak and it's easy to get them to make foolish mistakes like adhominem.

but then you get stuck in it. if you don't see it now, well, that's not uncommon, self-knowledge is hard to come by, but you're smart enough, you will in time.

i think it's good practice for the 'soft targets' - they should learn to be smarter and harder, and to avoid tarbabies like adhominem.
