Tip: I finally found the best flash player for blogs - GoFuckYourself.com

I've had a hard time finding a flash player that I like for my blogs. I've finally found what I think is a great one and figured I'd share it with anyone interested:

First download and install the plugin.

Of course, upload the video you want to your media section and copy the URL.

You call the player with simple code in the page. I've found the code below and the variables specified to be perfect for my needs:

In addition to it being a good looking player, what I like most is that clicking the video takes you to the paysite.

Oh and another tip ... I can never figure out proper sizes for players so if you're anal like me and like things to fit perfectly, go to any HD youtube video, click embed and then use the calculator for custom size -- put in the width you want and it will give you the height to use.

ummmm.. ok... but what you have there is just a wordpress "wrapper" that will use flowplayer or one of 2 others. So really, you could have just used the players themselves.

i.e. on that sample you gave it's just flowplayer.

OK. I never knew that and I'd bet a lot of people don't know that. I have roughly 30 sites and don't know a lot of the shit I should know.

If it weren't for things like WordPress and Mech Bunny tube script I'd be up shits creek and my sites would look shitty and be very basic like my old Geocities.

Before this I tried to use something that only worked with limited success so I'd upload to one of my tubes and then embed and I'll still do that occasionally for some cross-promotion but I also like having something on-board.

Anyway, people bitch about how there is nothing useful on GFY anymore and obviously from the other posts, this is useful to some people and I look forward to your contribution ... I'll probably learn something new.

Just an FYI the URL Field with that player breaks with some affiliate URLs namely ccBill. It can?t handle some of the characters. You will know when it happens because the player won?t show up in the post.

Some CCBill urls, maybe. I point the player at my redirect script and it works fine.

Sometimes it doesn't show up because one of the players can't handle MP4s.

Is there a way to get around the Firefox popup blocker as it stops it even though it does fuck-all for sites that open LiveJasmin on a video click?
