If it had slightly better conversion ratios for this test this would have been a damn good way to do it.

Thats actually a pretty decent ratio, seeing as how a good amount of those clickthroughs were blind off the picture I bet. =)

you got better results by sending this traffic where? Directly to the sponsor or to a gallery?

Didn't say it wasn't, but if it looked a bit better it would have made even more people check it out. Kinda like when you see a McDonalds commercial, you already know a big mac tastes good but when they show the unnatuarally green lettuce it just makes you want one even more.

A hundred or two off the ratios and you would have had that lettuce.
