    Getting started.....

    I'm a newbe here. I did go to the convention in June and was ininspired to try this for myself. The/my site has been up for a while, Its gotten a new face lift (splash page,tour etc.) It looks good. You can check it out at www.foreveramateurs.com .

    What I'd like to know is well everything, But the first few steps on Search Enjines how to, TGP's how to, and just going foward in general........Thanks....I hope to hear from someone soon......Tim Hammill

    Generally starting with a paysite for your first site is a bad idea. Best thing would be to start off promoting a sponosor to learn how to generate traffic. As far as learning things pay attention to the boards, their full of crap but if you pay attention you can learn a few things here and there. Also there's a few resource sites that can help you learn. cozyfrog is a good resource site to learn off of. Good luck with the site.

      That's as close as you'll get to an actual school for adult webmasters. Just be sure to go through the basics first; if you skip to the advanced stuff you'll wind up hopelessly lost and frustrated.
