I received the following from one of my bank partners today concerning problems on the First Data processing platform:
Hi everyone,
We are having a great number of calls from merchants informing us that they are getting no response from host. XXX has contacted FDR and they have informed XXX that the HOST is currently down on Omaha & they are aware of the issue. They have no ETA of when it will be back up as of yet.
Update:
Looks like the host is declining all pin based debit transactions. The credit card transactions are going through intermittently.
This could be impacting multiple banks who utilize the FDC platform.
