TGPRotator allows you to run multiple sites on the same server with one copy of the script.
You add your galleries and you can run multiple sites multicategory or niche sites using the same database of galleries, there is no option to accept submissions.
With AGSQL you can only run the script on the domain you bought it for but you are able to accept galleries.
Both scripts have the features needed to run a TGP.
TGP rotator hands down.. no need to take submissions if you're new you will likely never build a big enough site right away to beable to charge for submits, so no use taking them IMO.
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.
Is there an addon for thumb cropping using Linux boxes?
They both come with a "built-in" cropper. There is an add on desktop Windows app available (requires the .NET framework) - it has a few more options and makes better looking thumbs, but isn't required for cropping.
The add on is essentially a brower / cropping utility that runs on your PC and it ties in w/ script.
Another 'vote' for TGP Rotator. Great script, tons of features, very stable, and the fact that you can add perl code to your templates gives you almost unlimited power (the kind the president of Iran is after )
I agree. Best choice for a TGP that takes submissions. And I also agree that TGP Rotator(from the same company) is the best if you want to setup a fake TGP using your personal or sponsor galleries. Screening daily submits can be time consuming.
Heh, just click on my Sig to take you directly to the TGP Rotator page........
