Include ssi function takes much server cpu?

If I use the include ssi function to include an html file into a TGP index page, will it take too much server recources? Or will it not matter and not slow down the site?

that depends on the amount of traffic and how overloded the server is right now.
In most cases it wont make any difference.

For the most part, using just 1 SSI include function wont slow down your page.
