Off topic but.. I'm looking for a freeware Packet Sniffer. Just need to record some TCP packets, and if possible be able to record packets from a selected windows process.


I've tried many and only found one that I liked, now I can't find it again..


Which ones do you prefer? Please include link if you can, Thanks GFY

Snort maybe?

iris from eeye (commercial)
ethereal (free)

none of them is able to record from a selected process. why not just isolate the process?
