    Microsoft Security Patch

Sorry if already posted, search broken, blah, blah...

About once a week I get an email from a member that can't log in, though he has the right password. As you probably know I.E. is full of bugs with basic authentication, and occasionally gets stuck.

I just tell them to hahahahaha the password in the url, i.e., http://username:[email protected]/members and, 100% of the time, problem solved.

Now as you probably know the morons at Microsoft just broke that feature with their latest (not) security patch....

So what do I do with the next email like that I get ???
    I have no signature

The only thing I can think of doing is to offer the download to fix it. Of course, a lot of people might not like messing with a reg file but other than that there really isn't much you can do.
