I feel ya there man. Programmers are not exactly on my "happy list" right now. If my new guy doesn't come through for me I'm just going to do the damn thing myself.

Hey if your programmer doesn't come through, hit me up for details on me FREE CUSTOM PROGRAMMING promo...although all the other programmers hate it when I do things for free. It's always nice to get new clients and show them what I can do. It's definately worth it in the long run.

Typically yes, the only reason I turn out stuff when I say I do is I don't wack until its done. Kind of a good incentive to finish the job lol.

tofu i would suggest using an auction site for scripts,
they are very good, and if the programmer does not finish the company pays the difference for the next highest bidder on the project.

Sounds nice, but I've already tried similar deals, twice. I don't want free programming. I don't want cheap programming. All I want is finished programming. I don't even care what it costs, I just need the damn thing finished. I'm losing money. I don't like losing money unless it's at poker.

If this current guy doesn't work, I have another to try before I'll give you a go. I am offering repeat business, practically throwing money in faces, and nobody wants it!

Yep I'm sure it's really frustrating...if you don't want a free promo, how about this? 1 day turnaround time (if it's reasonable). If I don't give it to you when I say I will, badmouth me all you want.

My man has been doing it for about 4 years now. He's very dedicated and works his tail off for those who hire him. Not uncommon for him to put in 22 hr days.

I'm just finishing up doing a chargeback for the last "programmer" I dealt with. At least Paypal hasn't closed my account yet for doing the chargeback. (knock on wood)

Yeh, I have a list of about 5 more people to try. Slowly chipping away. The biggest problem is waiting to see if someone turns up to be a flake or not. I'm going to split up a couple projects so I can start testing out more people.
