    Do you have content and a server but traffic is flat or declining?

    Is it not time for the adult industry to evolve in some way. There was a point in time where the adult industry online was pushing innovation. Now there are literally hundreds of millions of sites which are the same. Spammy ineffective ads plastered everywhere. Link baiting to no end. No wonder the industry is in free fall online.

    I am a web developer and designer with over 23 years experience. I am looking for a business partner who has content and a server and is interested in trying something completely new. It would be a joint venture. I provide all the coding and development you provide the content, server and payment gateway, we split the profit.

          Added... waiting for response. I should also mention I have a completely custom ground up video player which can also broadcast live video and stream. Supports both HTML5 and Flash.

                  what am I being cryptic about? I would like to build an adult site and try new things to make it different, less spammy. There are enough tubes, galleries and cam sites don't you think?

                      OK I get it now... To built a decent site today ( and I have done it recently) is about the same price as lets say a couple of hours of a decent content... To maintain and admin it all on montly bases is about the same as 1h of decent content.

                      ... And hence is the folly in your proposal, never mind the time effort and money to deal with marketing, customer service etc.etc..

                          Maybe the fact you think a decent site can be done in a couple of hours is the real folly. No business worth while, website or not takes a couple hours to build. Not unless your are cheap and building off wordpress plugins and bombarding your users with spammy ads. LOL

                                  I have similar thoughts and plans as well. But why not just host it yourself and partner with someone with content and/or traffic? Sounds like you are a tech person so servers are something you are better equipped to handle, not the marketing / content owner.

                                      You have misread my comment... I was talking about PRODUCTION COST of 2 h of content.. Locations,sets,props,costumes,crew,equipment,trans port,catering, accomodation, talent,editing, mastering... All that will yield what I was talking about 2h of content. But I guess you would not know any of that.

                                      So I spent 5 K in producing a content ( or even more) you'll spend 5 K building it and then what ? I am out 5K and the site has maybe 2 hours of content, we split it and then what again I will spend another 50 K to get another 20h and you just "whistle a Dixie" and do nothing.

                                      ... And I almost forgot I pay for the server, I pay the fees to payment processors. If somebody is that stupid all the power to you. My last item of advice: If somebody serious goes for this, then only to copy the site and then tell you to fuck off, so at least built some secret back door to at least take them down.
