Are Cross Sells in Members Area Still a thing?
Are memberships stites still doing this? Cross Sales between 2 membership sites.
How do you trust the other site? Is that even an issue?

From info I'm getting from webmasters it seems that cross selling another product at POS can be lucrative - Though both parties must have the same processor - and less time consuming then dealing with updating offers in the members area.
How often should offers update? If you consider members around 50k a month on average. Thanks for any advice.

With my clients, they do:
* Cross-sales at the point-of-sale for some sites under certain specifications, like certain payment processors. Most of these are internal, so no external third-party sites. * Affiliate links and deal links in the members areas. These are almost always third-party sites. * Upsells via 1-click conversion through webcam whitelabels. * Upsells for physical product, either through third-party shop or service. * Rewards for continuing membership. Since we're almost always using some type of AMS (usually NATS,) that eliminates any element of trust. You just check the stats and get your payout via the specified medium. When a program stops paying out, people generally abandon it (and post about it here.) I built a suite of addons that my clients use to effect these upsells. As far as I know, it can be lucrative, but you do take on additional risk of upsetting the customer. xsale's will piss some people off, because they do not read the fine print. It's easier when you xsale your own internal sites, for that reason. Full page ads and deals will upset customers who are looking for a higher standard product. It's better to keep that stuff segmented and encourage use, but not overwhelm the customer. The 1-click cancellation addon that I built has been effective at reducing chargebacks, which helps with this sort of risk. The 1-click webcam conversion has been effective at retargeting users before they unsubscribe, because they will generally pick a webcam whitelabel and stick with it. Hope that helps!
