Is your plan to link to the images or place the actual image on your site? It would depend a lot on what type of sites you plan to scrape from though.

I may be misunderstanding what you're asking, but I don't think stealing content is going to make you well liked in the industry. I also don't think it's gonna make you a bunch of money.

Most affiliate programs give you content for free anyway. You might as well just work within those partnerships to get high quality content straight from the source. For one client, I setup JSON, CSV, and XML feeds to provide affiliates high quality content that was easily consumable by their machines. I'm sure many sites have something similar, you just have to ask.

I know of quite a few clients who use automated DMCA companies who partner with Google directly to find and then DMCA content. Enough complaints and Google will start delisting sites. I've even had luck getting sites delisted myself for clients without being tight with Google's team. I wouldn't want to gamble with that when there are better alternatives. The SEO hit is never worth that.

It would be very foolish. Also, illegal and immoral, but you obviously aren't worried about that. It would still be foolish and it will not work very well if at all.

It's best not to do that, be more unique, there are now many neural networks that will help you make unique content

As a general rule. If the picture is watermarked by the site where you take picture(s) from and you do NOT remove the watermark you will not get any DMCAs. But if you take pictures NOT watermarked or remove the watermark you will get many DMCAs.

Anyone tried using this?

https://digiregs.net/dashboard/register.php

"DigiRegs provides a paid access to their video copyright API that allows detecting video copyright holder for every uploaded video. Use this plugin to automate handling of copyrighted videos uploaded to your site and reduce the number of DMCA claims for your content."

I've written software that interfaces with the DigiRegs API for a client to reduce piracy.

I am not familiar with what they specifically did to reduce pirated content on the web, but in my experience, they were effective. I believe they have good partnerships with content sites.

That being said, I can't speak to how effective they were alone. The work I did on that particular project also worked with a variety of other companies who work in DMCA/piracy management.

I can't talk too much about that project, but I can say it changed my opinion on piracy management and how effective piracy management can be with the right investment.

Interesting background. How is the content marked typically?

With companies like DigiRegs, my best guess is that they partner with the site that allows users to share, and if they have digitally marked your content in their system, they can prevent uploads from occurring and issue DMCAs automatically. They may also offer other services, like crawling sites for your content, but I am not too familiar with that. Best to reach out to them directly.

I have worked with another company though specifically for fingerprinting videos. Their system is super sophisticated. I don't know how it works technically, but basically, during the download phase, it interlaces an invisible fingerprint tied to the account who downloaded the video. Then, regardless of whether it is cropped, transformed, or re-encoded, it can be deconstructed by their system to identify the fingerprint. In like, 9/10 of my tests, it detected the fingerprint. It was incredibly powerful at determining which account was compromised. DM me or send me an email on my site and I'll introduce you to them.

I have also implemented something similar that is proprietary for a client that does it with images, but it depends on a very powerful delivery network to fingerprint in real time. It's basically interlacing a watermark that is near invisible to the naked eye, but it has to re-encode the image and that is very costly.

We're in a different phase of anti-piracy for sure. This is about the most I can talk about without venturing into NDA territory.
