Business Setting download limits - GoFuckYourself.com

I'm wondering what anyone else does about setting download limits on their sites?
The aim is to make it harder for those looking to download my entire sites, or large amounts, and post the sets elsewhere. I know it's like trying to push water up hill preventing theft and piracy but I've got password logging etc software installed on the sites and am paying a DMCA agent $100s a month to get stuff removed too.
It might possibly upset a few member but is the trade off worth it to make life more difficult for the pirates?

In my opinion, you should limit the downloads from the server itself.

or

Use software to limit downloads.

But all of the above will possibly upset your paying members...

It's very hard to stop the pirates... they use different methods to get access and download videos. Sad, but true.

Thanks, I've installed Password Sentry - it's a lot cheaper than Proxy Pass (which seems quite popular) - about $75 per site with nothing more to pay instead of a monthly fee. It appears quite comprehensive but it can't differentiate between streaming and downloading mp4s, which penalises genuine members that are just streaming a lot of content and using up their allotted daily bandwidth (I've set it to 10GB a day to start with).
