be careful about it...only use for churn-and-burn or tiers

if you use it on a money site with other higher-quality links it can give you huge traffic...but only for a little while, google will penalize you soon

also most sellers are crap, you'll have to buy from lots of different sellers (and ruin domains in the process) before you find ones that don't suck

It was just ok 5 years ago.

Today, just build your page for people to read. You may beat google's AI for a short period, but you won't beat rankbrain for long.

Other option - get smart and don't rely on google for all your traffic.

GSA is just a spam pumping machine - spam wont rank your site,

it can still be used among other automated link building spam type tools to hit up tiered links but I wouldnt even blast tier 1, maybe tier 2 - assuming blackhat and tier 1 is PBN, and tier 2 is something like web2.0s but ultimately its going to be a waste of time, you woulud be better to focus on direct strong links - and poweer those with PBNs as tier 2

if someone blasted my site with gsa i wouuld consider it an attack and disavow right away- and the receiving post would get removed and redirected away in a heartbeat

theres a reason if you scour expired domains you see so many that are de-indexed with 10,000+ referring domains - they got burned

As googles algorithm has improved, spamming tactics like these often do more harm than good.

Think about it. What website gets 10,000 other websites to talk about your website in days? it's completely unnatural.

This is coming from someone who used and ranked with GSA and Xrunner back in 2010.

These days links that really move the needle are niche relevant high authority links google values quality over quantity.

It makes no sense the theory of the seo experts who have answered you...

According to the theory of seo experts, if a site ranks above you with a little bit of gsa it would have to disappear from the rankings ... And then Google would be more rigged than ever, since it would be very easy to manipulate the rankings of many websites and outperform your competition with negative seo.

The gsa and its different softwares like captcha breaker etc, are still updated frequently, 1 or 2 times a week on average, so many people still use it ...

The only issue is that it is not easy to use it well, and that it cannot be the only source of backlinks, gsa is just a complement that has to combine other aspects of your seo strategy.
