Ads do turn people away but if you are getting mostly bot traffic then its not eyeballs. Try giving something away and see if you get sign ups if you do they are live breathing people if you do not then its just bot traffic and you have to work harder.

somehow build an email list from all the traffic. have a banner or something on the side… build an email list so you can mail them offers and whatnot.

this way you're getting something from all the traffic.
