From my understanding you can still non have 'adult' photos etc posted.

Yeah their posting policies of nothing suggestive still stand, all that setting does is stop it being viewed by anyone under 18 on facebook. I changed that setting once in a page i ran and lost 5000 fans instantly...lol dirty boys!

But if you post porn it will get taken down eventually and after a few warning you will get your facebook account banned. And even if you make a ton of different profiles ( as throwaway) they will eventually ban the page and remove it.

The facebook system is crazy... people report a picture and that will start to count against you, i.e if you pick up a church hate group reporting for god brigade, then can complain from seperate accounts, so the image gets enough complaints and it gets removed plus you get a ban on posting for 24hr,3,days, 7day, 30 days, then you loose the account.

I mainly post links to tumblr nowadays on facebook.

As a side point this is my 30th post.. i can now post links to stuff.. horay for me!- sorry to eveyrone else

I wouldn't post any 18+ stuff on FB. There's always anyone getting pissed and will report to FB and so the shot begins.

It is better to put it to prevent your children from it.

Ask FB, just to have clear information.
