    A security expert has worked out a way to 'friend' anyone with the use of social media trickery.

    At the Silver Bullet information security conference in Sao Paulo, Nelson Novaes Neto showed how he managed to convince a target - another web security expert called 'SecGirl' - to add the fake profile he set up as a friend.

                                      Other than using lots of friends for a traffic source I think it's pretty stupid to add tons of people you will never know or meet.. Seems like 90% of social networking is just morons trying to see who can get the biggest friends list.

                                          I call bullshit. FB doesn't allow friend requests after a certain number. No way this guy friend requested over 400 people in one instance, and then over 400 again in another.
