Writers, Authors - New self-publishing site

    hey guys
One of my clients is finally out of alpha testing and is now in beta, but things are working well.

    Check out http://www.cplase.com
It's a place for writers and publishers to create articles, poems, books, etc. and distribute them through our publishing widget.

The guys behind it are rolling out some big advertisements as soon as they get 250 contributors.

Check them out and give us some feedback.

      An Ebook? yes
You can even give away the first chapter and charge for the rest.

The guys are adding some new features to make that easier too...

"Become famous over the whole world!" is a turn off statement for serious professionals IMHO

I'm working with these guys on some of the phrasing
English isn't their first language, so I'm re-writing most of the site text for them as well as the tutorials at the new tutorial blog http://cplasetuts.blogspot.com

The website is confusing. Legal Copy paste access is not very appealing to potential writers.

Do you guys on here all use the same designer or something? Nice idea.

I like this but I have a question.
                Your website states

How it works: Your content is distributed via the CPlase exclusive embedded widget. Bloggers, publishers and friends place this widget on a blank template within their site. Readers of that site see your summary. If they like what they see, they pay a nominal fee to read the entire piece. You make money whilst controlling the content, copyright and how it appears. Then, CPlase pays you for each download according to the price you set. What are you waiting for? Get started now!

Why would I show all my content for a nominal fee and when it can be revised or ripped off. Copyright or none... someone in China can hijack my content reword and redistribute. How am I gonna go after that? even in the USA.
Personally I would not show "ALL" of what I written unless it was purchased at full price.
