In the early 2000s I was scammed for 300,000 EUR by a black person. It was my fault for trusting him though, and probably the same would have happened if he was white.
Online porn money came so easy back then so I didn't care much at the time, but in hindsight if I had put that 300K in other opportunities that were available to me but I had to pass on, it would have made millions.

That's fucking terrible, I'm confident it could have happened if he was white too just like you point out. Online I haven't been scammed much, a few times for smaller amounts not even close to yours.
