It's a pain in the ass process to log in cause I felt the same way but in fact it's just that there is no clear "sign in" button.

Login with your GFY account NOW

Most of you will be automatically logged in when you click that - the rest will be redirected to login and after you do so, it will return you to the nominations page.

If you are logged out and try to write in your nomination, you get a pop up notification telling you that you must be logged in to vote...will change this to make it easier to immediately login.

Because if Alex and Kiwigirl don't know what to do, clearly it's an issue. ;) Thanks for the feedback.

No, all fields aren't required. The pop-up warning serves to remind you just in case you have empty categories. If you hit submit and there are empty fields, you get a pop-up that states:
