Awempire Account Hacked

I didn't receive my affiliate payout from AWE this month so I logged in to send a message to support and I noticed that my payout info had been changed to pay this account in Romania!!!

My PC and browsers have no viruses, spyware or malware. My password is secure and was not changed. My email address was not changed and furthermore, I never even received a confirmation email of when the payout info was changed. The fact that I didn't receive a confirmation email when my account info changed, is proof that they were hacked on their end not me. I say this because you cannot update any account info without the confirmation email ESPECIALLY not the payment info!

Anyone else experience this? I can't be the only one....

Yep, I notified them right away. They are usually quick at getting back to me. My personal account is pretty small but I also work for some of their biggest affiliates so I hope they handle the matter properly and promptly.

Its been over 24hrs and no reply?!?!?! This is not normal from them so something must have really got screwed up with AWEmpire.

No fortunately, I never have done business with him and I'm not even sure that is the right guy. Like I said, the breach in security was on their end and had nothing to do with me. Maybe they worked with him before and he gained access? I've found all his contact info, FB profile and more but its going to be up to AWE to prosecute.

BTW, day 3 and still no reply from AWempire?!?!?!? very strange why they have not replied to handle this already.

I don't have a well established account here on GFY so maybe that's why this thread is not getting too much attention but I do have an established reputation in the industry as one of the top SEOs in porn... I've worked with most of the big tubes and have ranked #1 for "porn SEO" for years now.

I did try them on Skype and ICQ... Its been 4 days now and no reply. Usually these guys get back to me right away!?!?!?!

Are there any other AWE affiliates here that can check their account to see if its been tampered with? Like I said, I'm pretty sure I'm NOT the only one that got hacked in their whole system.

Just giving an update... AWE finally got back to me, they said the delay was my fault because I sent follow up emails every other day or so and each time I sent an email it reset the time on my trouble ticket so to them it looked like I had only been waiting a day or so when actually I waited a full week to hear back from them.

This will be week 3 and I still have not received my payout from AWE. I reconfirmed that my email was not hacked, instead it was their system that was compromised but it still takes them about 4 days to reply to my messages. I've been an AWE affiliate for 3 years and even attend their conferences. They have always been a very reputable company so I'm really surprised by the way they are handling this.

AWE emailed today to notify me that the problem has been resolved and the check is in the mail! I am very happy with the outcome and look forward to continuing a long and prosperous relationship with the company. AWE has always been one of the best money making adult affiliate programs and they have always been the most reputable and now this is proof that these guys can be trusted! Thanks again to the AWE team and sorry if I ever doubted you guys ;-)
