Stolen porn accounts on eBay

The people who rip websites in order to post latest releases and site rips on file lockers and then to big infringing forums such as pornbb or planetsuzy use stolen credit cards to create accounts on porn sites that they target.

This is a common occurrence. The site owners and copyright holders lose twice, first in a chargeback and second in lots of stolen content.

However, the thieves are now leveraging a new way of making money, that is eBay.

The guy below has sold 8 memberships to porn sites he has ripped.

We were shutting down dozens of eBay accounts a week and removing hundreds of file locker premium account listings.

Now nothing is being done, it's up to individual rights holders to monitor channels such as eBay and Amazon for stolen content and memberships.

There's no ulterior motive, no conspiracy here.

I found this example while cleaning up the last reports we sent off and thought others here would either find it interesting or educational. I suspect a lot of people don't know how rife this stuff is on eBay.

this stuff is all over the net, not just ebay or amazon, its not news....

just do google search for terms like "mofos 05/10/2013" etc and you will find daily passwords to your favorite sites. don't even have to pay.

obviously it's up to the site owners to police their sites.

good job as always mr ak! but if program owner care, they have strongbox or something like that what will block account after two different ips logged, problem solved ... and it is no excuse that things like that are expensive, it is your content so you have to protect it

So what you're saying is, 'don't bother tackling counterfeiting or piracy even in cases where it can be stopped'.

Imagine what the economy would look like if every tom dick and harry could get away with selling Nike counterfeit shoes with no chance of penalty.

Sure, you can't stop everyone, but that's no reason not to shut down those that can be shut down.
