    Your Thoughts about .mobi

    I've noticed that my registrar is now offering early registrations for
    the new .mobi domain which is going live this fall.

    It's not open for any kinda site - there are restrictions on its use:

      1. I think it's fucking retarded. What dumbass thought up a four character TLD for use on a device that has shitty input features?

      2. It goes against how domains should be made: http://specific.company.type

                          It is a piss poor reason to instigate another extension when the dot coms will be both pc and mobile compatible. The .mobi extension will be forced to display a website specifically destined for mobile phones wheras the dot coms can have both revenue streams. I'll stick with the dot coms and wont bother with the mad landrush that will happen as in the .eu fiasco
