Someone finally gave me some decent info on this board.

I forget who, but they recomended I try lowering my use of the CC, even though I pay it off completely several times a month and never miss a payment.

One person I here said it was because I don't use enough of it. WRONG.

I stopped using it to pay bills, moved that to my debit card, and it jumped 60 points this month.

be careful about using your debit card - with cc's you usually aren't liable for any fraudulent purchases (if someone were to steal your card #)

however if I'm not mistaken most debit cards have no such protection, so if someone steals your card # they could clear out your checking account and you probably wouldn't be able to get the money back

Depends who you bank with really. I had a issue serveral months back and Bank Of America had a policy that all funds are placed back in your account in 24 hours. Needless to say i got my money back

Debit cards with visa/mc logo carry the same protections that regular CC's carry.
