Unmetered just means that you can use as much as you want, but if it causes massive server slow down, Ill cap the connections until the server speeds up again. It hasnt happened yet, and its up to you to decide if you want to go with it. Again, it hasnt happened and I dont think it ever will. But I have other hostees that I worry about. And if your usage gets to be so much that it may shut down the server, then what else can I do? I would do it to another hostee that threatened taking your site down too.. In my opinion its a safety feature.
As far as what would I do in that particular legal situation.. I would write her lawyers back and tell them that I would be more then happy to oblige them if they presented me with a law saying it was illegal. Whilst getting in contact with you to let you know that I may have to ask you to take them down. Its all a servermaster can do.Comment
