    A Big FUCK YOU to Dreamhost.

    Although now I have almost everything with Tear2Hosting I had my upcoming review site sitting on a Dreamhost account before I was migrating it over to my Tear2Hosting machine. In announcing my review site yesterday (http://www.dirtyfrenchman.com), I recieved a large amount of requests with a login/pass to use for review. Well no less than 3 hours later, Dreamhost's mailserver decided to shit the bed, causing me to be unable to log in. Now that it's up, they've cleared everything I had saved in my inbox - losing all that login information (mail which i hadn't yet opened).

    Fuck You Dreamhost.

      why does this seem more like tear2hosting spam then it does fuck you dream hosting?

          Yeah, I haven't heard very many good things about Dreamhost as far as adult hosting goes. Glad you found somewhere better.

              No, i'm pissed at dreamhost. I included the fact that i now host everything with tear2hosting because of the inevitable "you work for a hosting company, why not host with them" comments i would recieve otherwise.

              I'd be better of with a damn geocities account.

                                                  rule#1 when slamming a company , dont mention its competition.

                                                  As soon as i saw you mention another host i became skeptical and uninterested even though you have a very valid problem.. when hosting fucks up it can really mess with your biz, in your case you will likely have to re-mail the sites to re-request a password , and they will prob think your a horny surferlooking for another free pass and tell you to take a hike . jk .

                                                  Im sure many a webmaster empathizes with your situation.. i do.. lost a kickass domain once because my email wouldn't work and the registrar was run by inbred morons.

                                                          Agreed, but I'm affiliated with the competition. I could have been a bitch and posted this with a fake nick, but that's not me. I noted that I have everything else hosted with a company I'm affiliated with due to the fact that I knew I would get comments to the effect of "so you're affiliated with a different company, why dont you host with them". This was not a post to bring PR to Tear2Hosting - I can name many other hosts who are very reliable who I would gladly do business with and I would trust to actually back up thier mailservers.
