You know, normally I would just let things like this go, but I just can't this time. First of all, I do not have a "history" of taking on jobs and taking forever to complete. I was sick around the holidays and got behind, but I worked my TAIL off without any income to get caught up. I got behind in rent and bills just to make absolutely sure that every client I had got their order as soon as possible.

Secondly, I have a very long list of clients who have written me glowing "thank yous" because I completed their projects well within the time frame I quoted them. Just because someone has problems with a few clients because of real life problems does not mean they have a "history" of something.

Thirdly, I'm really tired of people making posts like this about me when they have absolutely no experience with me personally. It's not fair and I don't appreciate it one bit. One of the people who has bad-mouthed me repeatedly HAS had experience with me, and his boss could attest to the fact that I completed their jobs within a very few HOURS of being hired.

I work really hard and what I do, and it's aboslutely unfair to make statements about me because of hearsay and when you don't even know the whole story.

leave it at THAT
if you have a problem with what I said either put me on ignore or hit me up about it instead of flipping out on a damn message board

you DID dissapear for awhile with out ttelling clients what was going on
you even said your self you stayed off icq
you did NOT tell anyone what was going on

if you where able to get on the computer to " catch up " you could atleast tell your clients what is going on

you're dealing with someones reputation, when you make comments like that more then once and haven't even attempted to resolve the issue one on one it makes you look bad. From what I've read she did the best she could with an unforeseen occurrence, I saw the other post and obviously this one as well. She has been recommended by several people and her portfolio is damn good. Why you feel the need to treat her this way is beyond me.

i get bashed on her ALL the time by compitors ... does that make them bad people?

or is this just because she is a female designer?
