I'm sending direct hits to sponsor sites and traffic to sponsors' free hosted galleries. I checked my stats this week and for one sponsor (I'm not going to name names) I had sent them 40 direct unique hits and 175 unique visitors to hosted galleries, with the correct codes as far as I can tell - yet my stats only showed 7 raw clicks for the whole week!!! Is this normal??
On other sponsors, I've seen that the ratio of unique visitors I send to hosted galleries to the number of clicks they record is about 8:1 - ie about 1 person in 8 clicks through from the sponsored gallery to the sponsor's join page. Yet on this sponsor, the ratio is about 40 to 1!! This must be wrong, no?
