WARNING one model place is the biggest fucking rip off!

This Place And this Guy has to be the worst no give a shit company out there!

First i sign up to get some models.. Chat doesn't work....Their message board doesn't work..then when searching for models only 3 pages of the listings work.

So i emal asking for help..I get told to TURN OFF Virus protection, firewalls, popup blockers.

Of course i am bit confused about this so i decide to call this guy....
i get the do this do that routine..then he says Oh i don't handle the chat or the messag board you need to talk to someone else routine.

Im like never mind, refund my money this is for shit...HE says no and cancels my mebership on top of that!
I was only a member for like 4 hours. So he takes my money cancels the membership and won't give my money back!

Photogs Stay away from this asshole! He will rip your ass off in a heartbeat!

Can't use them at all like i said the canceled my membership and said no to refunding my money! My long 4 hour membership is gone.

I've been a member for quite a while now and never felt the need to use the chat or the message board. I'm searching for available talent that fits my needs, not wanting to chat with them...
I log in, check the webmail, search for new models, find what I need and send off a contact email to the models that fit what I'm looking for.
Been doing that for a few years now and have had no problems...

Use the site for what it's supposed to be (a searchable model database) and you'll have no problems.
Sorry about you losing your money though...that sucks.

The site works great for me... and returns alot of searches.

The thing I noticed is...I e-mail alot of the girls and never get replies... Almost like they aren't real?

I had a membership but I would NEVER use them again! Most of the girls on their think they are real models and most of them have serious attitude. Also, the prices that talent wants is crazy! OMP is a joke!! Do you really want to shoot girls that have shot for others? Get off your ass and drive around, hit the malls and/or hire some 18 yr old girl to recruit others

It took 3 or 4 days for the message board to work for me after I signed up. I assumed they were verifying my account or something & wouldn't grant access until after that had been done.

The biggest problem there is a lot of 140 lb girls who are 5"2 think they can be fashion models because they post a profile. There are lots of moms & underage girls too, so you have to be careful with even suggesting nudity in shoots. Not the best place to recruit from if you're into shooting hardcore.

the same thing happened to a buddy of mine, the first time he complained about anything they cancelled his account

when he called back to threaten a charge back they got scared and refunded his money...he should have just charged back

Yep, I will not bother myself to recruit/hire a model from that site.
Like Roscoe, it was a bitch for simple technical support; my main image would not show up, it was something simple on their end -- but it took 4 emails and a month before it got fixed.... and thats with my 'platinum' membership. :thumbsdown

But consider this, this person/group's site is now so successful, and very addicting to most models/members there, that he/they are reeling in the dough. Customer service is their last priority at this point.

OMP Been Very Very Good To Me

I've hired several models that I learned about through OMP:

If you hire one model through OMP, it more than pays for the Membership (if you go that route, as I did).

The biggest problem with OMP is that many new models get pounced on by lots of fake photographers, who then proceed to disillusion the models by scamming them, hitting on them, etc.

I never had to contact OMP Tech Support, but then I usually never have to read manuals either.

Sorry you had a bad experience, but it's not rocket surgery...

I've had a similar incidents with both OMP and deviantART.

These guys think because they do business over the wire that they can treat you like shiit, but they're gonna get what they deserve... Oh yes they will.

It's very fucking frustrating not being able to talk to a supervisor or inquire to a customer service rep. They just cut you off cold without reason.

Do you know how many hours of sleep I lose at night thinking about how I want to kill Angelo? I was wrongfully banned from deviantART and it fucked up my whole program.

They've changed their policy now, but they didn't give me back my money, time, or the work I lost... It's been 3 years now and I STILL swear to fucking god I'll get him.

Im not bashing the models and the fact you do need to find 10 to get 2-3.
What pissed me off was the dman attitude of the owner and just the overall lack of any kind of help. Then to cancel my membership after 4 hours and i mean flat refuse to give my money back was like just plain stealing.

I have 2 models that swear by the site and i guess for some things are just grand but when you have a real honest issues, you need to help your customers if you want to keep them.

That sucks man. I've been a members of OMP for a few years now, and I've never had a problem I've even had to email them about some stuff and it gets handled fast. Sorry you had a bad experience with them.

Their origins are in mainstream (non-adult) modeling resources - to me, it seems that they are trying to handle adult, but without an experienced approach.

Canceling membership AND refusing refund (did I understand this correctly?) is not right and not smart (from CB standpoint).

I had a problem with my GF's profile, her travel notices had been disabled, it was saying we had posted a travel notice for our local area, which is not true. It took 3 months to get this fixed when i called them they were so fucking rude, i told them i need this fixed it has been 3 months and we are paying for your service, they said we don't care and if i keep talking he will hang up becuase i am wasting his time. I freaked on them and he just told me tuff it's his way so if i don't like it tuff. I knew Brett from years ago and when i asked to talk to him they told me no, he doesn't want to talk to you, he doesn't care if you are having a problem. WTF?????

I think it is pretty fucked up!, they were never like this a couple of years ago. i used to talk to Brett all the time, and they were very cool with me. I own and run www.adultxmodels.com and if i treated my customers like this i would be out of business. If our customers have a problem we try and fix it ASAP, and we will gladly refund soeone if they are having a problem, you cannot run a business like they do, it will eventually come back and kick you in the ass!

So they are fine if you don't have any problems, but if you do, do not expect any help from them, they do not give a fuck about anyone anymore.

I signed up to that site as a female model, just to research the type of people who cantact models on that board. If its not the biggest hobbie photography board I dont know what is. It was a joke, totally NOT LEGIT and all of it was TFP, TFC, FREE FREE FREE. It's a joke, I wouldnt join if I were a model or a photogrpaher. The girls are fooled with so much BS I wouldnt blame them for not showing up to pro sets. Thats just my opinion though!!
