She Wants To Steal My ManHood?!?!?!

    Gentlemen,

I have a grave problem here ... my wife came up with this pethatic idea
regarding our baby;s last name. She wants to hyphenate the baby';s last name
to include both our last names. EG. Smith-Jones

I need your help guys ..... any suggestions?

how do you see this as stealing your manhood?

If your that dead set against it - stand up for yourself and say 'no' - and actually I don't think that you can register a baby under a different last name as the father - mother, check that out with your lawyer first before making a scene. I think you have open sky on choosing any name except the last one

actually a woman can keep her last name when married - but I think the law states that you can't create a 3rd name for the child - has to be either the fathers or mothers name.

not necessarily since it's not the 1950's anymore his wife can very legally be smith-jones or has just kept her maiden name but dunno if smith-jones could be applied to babies as well.. at the same token, don't see why not.
