Today I learned that's a major fucking lie, and shit, if I had to give away 44%+ of everything I earned to a government that gives me nothing in return I'd be thinking about tax revolt too.
FWIW - I pay 18.1% combined federal and provincial tax for my small business... and frankly I'm amazed that anyone down there can DO business if that's the way you get shafted by the taxman.
