you should be able to create a still frame through Premiere and export it out as a JPG. the pics may not be perfectly crisp, and here'a little lesson in why:
depending on your capture frame rate, you were probably shooting at 24, 30, or most likely 60fps. which means your shutter speed was AT BEST 1/60 sec.
a decent photographer knows that to stop motion and receive a sharp photo you cannot even think about shooting less than 1/125 sec. video cameras, even HD, are not meant to capture still photos.
your screen shots will be a little blurry unless you were filming a potted plant. sorry.
