    God Damn Insurance Companies

    Wow.

    I am getting really pissed at this shit now...

    I've called half a dozen companies, and probably as much insurance brokers.


    So far, no positive answers, no one will cover... and for those that say it might happen, they want over 2500 a year as a start...

    WHY?

    Because my business is mainly off internet , they claim responsabilities due to viruses, internet being up and down, computers crashing etc... is too volatile to cover...

    but I don't give a rats ass about a protection in case I cannot work for a few weeks! Regarding if I am covered or not, if I can't manage I know damn well that clients will manage otherwize and I will loose them... that's how our industry works, and I do not want to be covered for that shit..

    but no one will cover just Equipement and Civil (in case someone breaks his neck in my doorway lol)


    so anyone from the montreal Area ever had problems finding commercial insurance and has a number for someone I could call?

    I got the info from the Gamma Guys, so waiting to see if that will work, but already looking at other alternatives if anyone got any....

      Dont tell them you have an internet based company, say you also have an
      store front/office or whatever and provide internet services. But your biz
      itself is not based totally on the internet.

          I do at least half on video encoding... but it doesn't matter... as soon as I do anything over the net .... and if they'd find out, it'd be enough to render the insurance invallid from what I hear...
