Before I get started, if anyone has some free time and feels generous, contact me on ICQ to help me out.

Anyhow, I've been building galleries and having them built for a little while now and I want to add that extra SEO touch for some additionnal traffic to my galleries.

I have a small network of galleries all under the same domain name and was thinking of building a free site from that domain name that will link to all my galleries. Thats the easy part.

Now here is where I want you SEO GURUS to help me out. What can I add to my galleries, structure, html code, whatever to improve SEO?

I know its a pretty vague question, so if you gurus can contact me via ICQ (9117840) instead of replying here, that would be very preffered.

This is a side project, so I don't have any money to offer, but I can trade services.

Oh ya, if things go well, I will have many other sites that I have on hold right now that I will want to SEO the shit out of. But those I do have budgets for.

Try adding descriptive text, with the text linked to the sponsor you are promoting . . . actually, scratch that . . . link it to a landing page so you can easily change sponsors by modifying the landing page instead of having to go back and edit all your galleries.

That may or may not work. It depends on where he is sending these galleries. Many TGP/MGP's will not accept galleries which are not linked to tours. Personally I wouldn't do it - you're better off doing that with freesites and leaving your galleries with 3-4 clean links to a tour. He also mentioned that these are pre-existing galleries - modifying pages to link text is a great way to get yourself blacklisted when site robots check your page.

I already have a bit of text in my galleries. Write it all myself.

I like your idea for the landing page. I could send it to a warning page that has a link to my sponsor?

Although my galleries are all taylor made to promote my sponsor, so theoritically I can't switch sponsors through my galleries.

If you've got some spare time Baddog, would ya mind chatting a bit on ICQ?

Anyway, throw a title & a h1 title text on the page that describes the content... thats all i can release ;)

Your right. I only submit to TGPs and MGPs right now. So I don't need the landing page. Although I will keep it in mind for when I build free sites.

And the galleries I have already listed, I will not even touch as to avoid getting blacklisted, but I do have a whole bunch that haven't been listed yet, so those are the gals I want to SEO right now

Funny, I did not see anywhere that said he wanted to modify existing galleries. One would presume that he was talking about doing SEO for the future ones.
