The two programs each have their merits.

Anyone unsure what's best for them, should get in touch with us via trafficdoc @ friendfinderinc.com.

I stopped using them when I learned that adstats is redirecting their traffic to AFF.

If AFF let's crooks send traffic to their sites... then the legit webmasters will suffer in the future from that. You deal in crooks...you are crooked.

Yes you can signup twice and get one account of each. But it's best if you promote only one as our program has built in incentives for you to earn more on the revshare as you send more traffic and you move into higher tiers.

So splitting your traffic would hurt your revshare account long-term but it's fine for testing out what you prefer.

I think you might be barking up the wrong tree here, if you have a dispute with adstats you need to take it up with them it is not for Friendfinder to settle your dispute or get involved. they have a contractual agreement with each of their affiliates seperately, If I start saying everyone who does biz with each other shouldnt cuzz another sponsor owes me money then no one would do biz. Are affiliate programs now judge jury and executioner. I just dont see it the way you do and i am sorry you feel this way.

I'm not talking about the program that was mentioned or the specifics of the poster's issue with it (since I don't know them anyway), but I think you are wrong.

Perhaps it's the way you stated the situation. If all you did was come on a board (particularly if you were less well-known) and say so-and-so owes me money, then it would be stupid for anyone to pay much attention. But the only reason such an easy, profitable business is plagued with scams is because we allow it to be. And why? It's not like there aren't plenty of people to do business with who are ethical, and I don't include in that number people who themselves behave ethically but turn a blind eye to what others do, so long as they are not the targets.

After everything was explained to you many times in the original thread you still don't get it do you?

I know what your solution would be. Before any Affiliate program accepts a Webmaster, they must pass a 20 year background check including criminal, credit, past employment, drugs, neighbors, friends etc. They also must not ever have anything negative said about them by anyone else or be subject to immediate termination.

Like Lars said nobody would be doing any biz at all. I know my overdue library book from 1987 that is still on my bookshelf would come back to haunt me so I would have to give up the game there and then if these Orwellian rules were introduced.

Move on there's nothing to see here.

Oh and as regards the actual thread topic PPC versus Revshare, open two accounts and test each out. Depending on your traffic, you will usually find revshare better in the long run. If you don't have enough traffic to do a viable split, then hammer the crap out of revshare and you will most likely be more than happy.
