Wish you the best.
A little story, please take the time to read.
My first heart attack. I didn't realize I was having one! Hell I was only 38! Had the sweats and chills at some aches in my writs and tightness in my jaw. Also had some pain in the center of my back. No chest pain, no left shoulder like ya hear about. I kinda stumbled going up the stairs to the bedroom. I thought I had the flu or something. Just didn't feel right.
I kept rationalizing it and the next morning I was better, but something in me said something wasn't right. So I stopped at one of those Med First places. Not even sure they're still open. It was a chain of clinics to handle minor emergencies.
Anyway I explained to the doctor and she threw me down on a table and did an EKG and told me that I already had suffered a heart attack and there was damage. She wanted me in an ambulance. I said no way and called my secretary to drive me to the ER.
The short version is that I blew artery as in not repairable and damaged my aorta - a quarter to a third is dead tissue they say. I ended up in the hospital for 10 days Recovered enough to perty much lead a normal life. Had to do rehab and now I see the doctor every three months.
Oh, I was a smoker, they said not anymore.... I also drank heavily. They suggested strongly that I cut back... I still drink, just not as much.
