How do you suppose Bin Laden views Canadian troops attacking Taliban in Afghanistan?

I sleep fine at night. If you use that big ol' brain you claim to have and carefully read my post again, you'll notice I don't suggest that Bin Laden is about to lob ICBMs at Canada. I was just refuting the following statement:

"to make a simple for you, we do not need a gun, cause we are not cowboys shooting indians"

How do you suppose Bin Laden likely views Canada's participation in Afghanistan? You don't think there's any chance he would have considered that action a little "cowboy"?

Actually that's not true at all, and I've never told anyone to listen to my point of view. People who repeat nonsense like it's some sort of fact are brainwashed by television, as you did in this thread. It's has nothing to do with differing world views, it has to do with you being misinformed, and you trying to spread that ignorance to others.

Maybe you should take more time to read these books, one every two days, I don't think they're sinking in. Coloring books don't count.

Just to set the record straight, I don't believe Canada needs to or should participate in this failed missile shield project. Canada may not have any large scale enemies at present but to suggest we're just the rainbow and sunshine of the World, universally loved by all without a detracter anywhere seems kind of foolish.

So it's your contention that it's absolutely not possible that Bin Laden could harbour some ill will towards Canada over our foreign policy, specifically Afghanistan? It's outright impossible?

This is the kind of thing that wouldn't happened if you stop watching television, hence my advice, which you so rudely dismissed. Do I think Bin Laden is going to declare Jihad against Canada because of our role in Afghanistan? No. Even if he did, do I think he's a real threat to us? No. Even if he were a threat to us, would this have anything to do with strategic missile defense? No.

And no, I don't think Canada is innocent. In fact I think most Canadians are hypocrites for judging Americans who turn a blind eye to Bush's policy in the middle east, all the while turning a blind eye to our own involvement in the destruction of democracy in Haiti.
