Lensman - idea to stop surfers and fake nicks on GFY

just an idea - take it for what it's worth.

pretty much everyone who's anyone in adult already has a gfy account.

why not approve every person from now on visually - and have in the application form some text area asking the person to prove they work in adult in some way.

pay someone on here that needs the money $1 or $2k a month to do this every day.

noone needs INSTANT approval on a new nick name - and waiting 24 hours to get approved will help to stop a lot of fake nicks too and allow for ip cross checking.

Now ONE-UP the idea! The person requesting the nick must pay $15 to do so. Non-refundable! You can't provide accecptable proof or have multiple nicks, you lose your money. You want extra nicks and find a proxy, np.. going to cost you $5 though...

Personally I think the board should have a yearly fee. Say $50. When you signup it costs $15 and after 3 months you need to pony the remaining $35.

2. Not all of us work directly in the adult industry, some of use work in industries that support the adult industry, like webshosting.

3. Some of us have never been to a show, though that is subject to change at almost any time.
