Bring a pad and pen to bed. When something comes to mind that is bothering you and keeping you up - write it down. Tomorrow cross as much of the stuff off your list as you can. Alcohol and pills are not going to get rid of whatever is bothering you.

And don't excercise 4hrs prior to going to bed, it will just make things worse.
