I don't know Franck, but while his comments were strong, he (and many others) provided the 'proof' behind the statements (some of which were OPINION - remember free speech?).
This board is called 'GO FUCK YOURSELF' - we don't always hold our pinkies out when we take a swig of hooch.
Direct (no pun intended) attacks aren't the best way, but the 'debate' warmed up real quick and everyone had all the tools (google) to check things out for themselves.
I don't take anything at face value on this board, BUT I do look into matters on my own which seem to get hot play. I also have an IGNORE feature which I use when someone repeatedly spews stupid more than not.
There are many posters on this board I find totally offensive and ignorant (they and/or others may think the same of me), but I don't think they need to be banned. I just IGNORE them and let the filter tech help me choose who I want to listen to here without needing to ban anyone.
Unless someone is engaged in (illegal) acts which could bring the board down, let they have their say.
The stronger the comments got, the more I looked int the matter - I never formed an opinion about the subject of discussion based on the comments alone.
GFY sponsors need not worry about getting hurt by flamers - that is unless, there is something verifiable and tangible that will be discovered about them.
Let the ranters, ravers, flamers, and champions of truth all blather on - just don't disable the IGNORE feature.Comment
